Backup and restore in a new debian ubuntu server

Hi

I have installed serpscope on my private pc to check it. Now i want to move it on a server so it runs always.
How can i backup my configuration. I have found that i can restore the database but i did not found how i can backup it.
Do you recommend to use mysql database or use the embedded. In witch circumstances should i use mysql?

Thanks in advanced and sorry for my poor english.

Re: Backup and restore in a new debian ubuntu server

if you check more than 1000-2000 keywords, better to use MySQL. Number of website doesn't matter.
