Raspberry Pi Installation not working?

Hi,

Got everything working fine on a VPS, however, having a issue with Raspberry Pi install.

Seams I am stuck with:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:webupd8team/java
Traceback (most recent call last):

Any ideas?

search on google for it, raspberry pi have some different ppa, mabe you need download full package of java as tar.gz. and try manually installation.

yes, this is probably the problem, webupd8 ppa is not likely to work on pi.

you remember i had it running on a raspberry pi (Y) if you can run Java8 you can easy run the serposcope.jar file (Y)

I installed it in my RaspberryPi without problems. You must install openjdk-8-jdk, and edit /etc/default/serposcope

JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-armhf
