Compile from Source Code (debian)

Hi,

I am quite new to compiling source code and need some help with this.

I have downloaded serposcope.deb to my server.

How to I add the required dependencies then compile.

I am use to just cd into directory and -/configure #make then #make install

However, there is not configure file.

Just some steps would be great to compile.

Thanks

Re: Compile from Source Code (debian)

so far this is what i have gotten to:

apt-get install build-essential maven

wget "https://github.com/serphacker/serposcop … master.zip"

unzip master.zip

cd serposcope-master

./core/scripts/sqlcodegen.sh

mvn -Dsinglejar=true -Dminify=true clean install

However it fails.
web.............................FAILURE [10.044 s]
[ERROR} Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-surefire-plugin:2.18.1:test (default-test) on project web: There are test failures.

Any ideas?

I just wish to compile from source code for production with no modifications to normal install.
